Amendment to ML100046 EA & engagement of Environmental Consultants
SMA is pleased to announce that in April 2018 Strategic Metals Australia Pty Ltd (ACN: 167 122 714) engaged NRA Environmental Consultants based in Cairns QLD to commence environmental baseline sampling on ML100046.
NRA has provided services to the private, public and community sectors at strategic and operational levels since 1984, and their specialist environmental expertise has been employed on natural resource management projects in Australia and South East Asia.
ML100046 was granted on the 23rd May 2016 for a term of 20 years and currently has a Standard Environmental Authority which allows for less than 10 hectares disturbance and a production through put of 1000 t/pa.
SMA is intending to have the Standard EA amended to a Site-Specific EA which will allow for 100,000 t/pa through-put.
