EPM26415 Ropewalk Application Granted
SMA is pleased to announce that on the 8th May 2018 Strategic Metals Australia Pty Ltd (ACN: 167 122 714) was granted an Exploration Permit for Minerals (EPM26415) over ground adjacent to our Buchanans Creek tenements in QLD. This ground is considered to hold potential for tantalum, tin and gold.
EPM 26415 is located 11.5 km west-south west of Forsayth, QLD and consists of 13 sub-blocks covering a total area of 41.6 km². The term of the permit is 5 years.
The EPM was under competitive bid from several other explorers, including a major ASX listed Lithium Explorer/Producer and SMA was awarded Priority on the Application and subsequently was awarded the ground applied for.
A heavy mineral stream sediment sample taken in 2015 from a creek draining part of EPM 26415, located on EPM 18490 showed anomalous Tantalum, Tin and Gold shedding from the Ropewalk area.
